What A Week.....

It has been an awesome week, many high points and very tiring at times too, but that is to be expected when there are 6 grand kids and 6 adults all in one house. We are blessed to have them all and we wouldn't want to change a thing.
As I reflect on tomorrow being the 4th of July and what it means to me, I am so thankful to be living in the USA, the freedoms we have , the blessings this country is to all of us who live here, and the sacrifices that have taken place to keep it that way. I am proud of my country and the men and woman that defend it in my behalf. We as a family will be getting together tomorrow after church for a family BBQ and to celebrate the day. It is also Marc and Stacie and the kids last day as they will return to their home in Idaho tomorrow evening. It may be one of the last times we get to have them down for a long time to come. Marc has been out of work for a while now and finally has an interview with a new Walmart that is going up in the area where Stacie's parents live, his interview is Monday afternoon and although we don't wish for them to be so far away, we know Marc must support his family any way he can. So we send them home, with best wishes and prayers and hope that maybe he will have a job by the end of the week.
Another event that has taken place in our kids lives is that our youngest son Matt, has taken a job in Alaska, and his family didn't move with him, so they will be moving in with us this coming week/weekend to be with us for a while. Meg, B and C will be taking our down stairs for a bit and altho it is a change for us, we open our arms and home to them.
Jenny and her children will be joining us in a couple of months also, soooo our home is never with out children even tho we have officially been empty Nester's for a while. :)
Well before I end this I wanted you to see the desert we will be tasting tomorrow in our celebrations. May God Bless America.....
