Friday Evening

Well it is Friday, Bruce, Chris, Beckham and I are watching a movie, while we baby sit B... while his folks are out tonight to the Temple and out to dinner. ( Bruce and Chris are taking naps) here and there...lol.... Matt is getting ready to go back to Hawaii, on Sunday, so they are getting in some last min. time together. I think it has been a good week for them, and I know how hard it is going to be for all of them come Sunday.

I went to Curves this morning, and then grocery shopping after. I didnt' get home until after 11 am. This afternoon I worked on projects and then B... showed up around 4 pm. I must say I am tired this evening.... it is raining out so it is dreary and that makes any one sleepy.

We don't have any thing special planed this weekend, just more of the same. It is suppose to be rainy off and on so we won't be doing much out side.

Busy Sat.

It has been a nice day, it started out with a call home only to find my mom gone but it was such a nice visit with my dad. I really enjoyed it , it was good to catch up with him. He hasn't felt real good this winter, but he is begining to feel better, just needs alittle more time to get his strength back. Spring and Summer are around the corner and here is hoping he will feel much better as the time goes on.

After that I did some yard work with Bruce , we mowed our lawn, and sprayed the weeds. I also worked in the garage a little too, it is such a mess, really need to get out there and do more.

Matt and Meggan provided suppr tonight, and Chris came over to join us. They all stayed until about 7 pm, and then went to their own homes. Since then Bruce and I have been watching tv, and just relaxing . It is good to sit down, we have been on our feet most of the day.

I took some pictures the other day of my flowers, I will try to put them on here now.

SPRING

Guess it is time for me to update this blog and let you all know that we are well, however busy it has been.

We just returned from another trip to Ill. to see Grammy Rose and to bury Grammy Rice. She was 98 and died a little over a week ago. It was a small funeral and we had it at the grave site. Grammy Rose is doing fine, she seems to be happy enough at the place where she lives, she is in a study for a new drug for Alzh. and we will be keeping a watch out on how that goes. Bruce was able to get a few more things done for her estate, and things went very well. We are however glad to be home.

I did alot of work on the house today, some spring cleaning in fact, and it felt good to do it. I have taken some pictures and will post them here. It is a nice evening with the sun shinning and in the 40's. very pretty out there in fact. We are suppose to get some snow over night but I am not sure we will get it, maybe the MT's.

We had a great week a week ago with Marc and Stacie and kids here, they came in on Thrusday and stayed until Sat. which is the day we left for Ill. Stacie helped me a great deal on things, we painted a bedroom, and work out in my yard and got things planted and straightened up, and we changed my sewing room all around and it looks great. It was hard work but we had a good time doing it. The week went fast . Just like this week has gone fast, and now it is the weekend. Bruce and Chris are at a basket ball game this evening, so I am here by my self enjoying the quiet. This weekend is Genreal Conference and we are so looking forward to that. I enjoy General Conference so much, we get to listen to our leaders of our church and it is always great.

I think we will be home for awhile now, and looking forward to summer when my sister with her kids will be visiting us. We are also looking forward to meeting our newest grand baby in Aug. All in all we are so blessed .
