Flying to New England
Well, I can see it has been a very long time since I have done any entry on this blog, so I thought maybe I would catch up on it before I leave for my trip to Maine and Conn. Summer has been long and HOT around here and so has Fall. We are in the high 80's and will be for the next week they say. I must say it doesn't feel much like Fall. How ever we have tried to make it feel as much as Fall as we can. Meggan and the kids have been with us for the last 3 months, that has gone fast. She is feeling very pregnant and tired. The kids are growing like weeds, Beckham started pre-school this year and loves it. He only goes twice a week, but it has been so good for him. Caitlyn is growing fast, she has turned a year and is walking all over the place, nothing keeps her down. She is a cutie. Our family from Boise, Id has moved to the upper part of Idaho. We miss them not being so close that we can just hop in the car and go see them in 5 hours, now it will take 10 or 12 hours to get to them. But Marc has a new job and so they needed to move up near work. We are happy that he has a job as he has been out of work since he got out of school last
May. I guess I should explain that the reason Meggan and kids are with us is due to Matt working in Alaska, he comes home every 6 weeks right now. Jenny and Erick are in Conn. he is stationed there, he will be on deployment soon, and she and the 2 kids are coming out here to spend that time with us in Utah. And that brings me to my trip to New England. I will be leaving this Sat. and going to Maine to visit with my parents and family for a week, I am looking forward to it. I finally should get some cooler weather, and pretty colors I hope. It will be nice to see every one. After a week in Maine, I will be going to Conn. to help Jenny get ready to make the trip out here, we are driving back so there will be lots to do to prepare. All in all it should be a good trip. The rest of us are doing well. Chris is liking his new calling at church, and working hard as always. Bruce is doing well and working hard as well. I wish he was able to go back East with me, but he was there in May/June for a week with me then. All in all we are doing well, have many blessings going on and we thank Heavenly Father for his love and blessings on our family. Hope it is true with yours. Until next time.

New Shelves
Here is the newest addition to our kitchen, Bruce worked hard today and put in shelves for me in what use to be our coat closet. It works out so nice. Now you might wonder what we did with our coats , well they are in the garage on a rod that he put up today also. It is nice and we really needed the room. Of course Beckham had to get in the picture too as he helped with the construction..... :) any way thought maybe you would like to see what we do on a Sat. around here, some weekends. Love to All,

The other thing that I have been busy with is the dresses you see in the beginning of this post, the pink one is for Caitlyn, and the green is for Lorelia.... they have been fun to do.
So any way that is what is new here. Hope all is well with you ....

Good Week
It has been a good week, busy but not so bad as it has been as of late. Meggan and kids moved in last Monday with us to stay for a bit until probably Oct., Matt 's job in Alaska is going well and Meg and kids are doing well here I think. Of course she has had her moments with the kids and missing her hubby, but all in all she has done well in my book. I think all my girls have struggled this week a little bit as Jen has been fighting sick kids, a husband out to sea, and not feeling well her self. But her husband is back now, and the kids are feeling better, and hopefully she is getting some rest. Stacie and family are going through their own hard times, Marc has been trying to find work for the last several months, and finally got an interview with WalMart, but it happens to be up where her parents live, so he has been up there waiting to see if he got the job. So Stacie has been home with some kids, (Hannah is up with Marc visiting her grandparents.) Any way I think Stacie has been kinda struggling too this week. All in all the girls have had a rough week. I on the other hand have had a good week, the kids have been great and I have enjoyed Meggan pushing me to go for walks each day with her and the kids. I really can't believe it is the weekend already, it has gone fast. Any way that is about it from our home this week. Hope it has been a good one for all of you.

What A Week.....
It has been an awesome week, many high points and very tiring at times too, but that is to be expected when there are 6 grand kids and 6 adults all in one house. We are blessed to have them all and we wouldn't want to change a thing.
As I reflect on tomorrow being the 4th of July and what it means to me, I am so thankful to be living in the USA, the freedoms we have , the blessings this country is to all of us who live here, and the sacrifices that have taken place to keep it that way. I am proud of my country and the men and woman that defend it in my behalf. We as a family will be getting together tomorrow after church for a family BBQ and to celebrate the day. It is also Marc and Stacie and the kids last day as they will return to their home in Idaho tomorrow evening. It may be one of the last times we get to have them down for a long time to come. Marc has been out of work for a while now and finally has an interview with a new Walmart that is going up in the area where Stacie's parents live, his interview is Monday afternoon and although we don't wish for them to be so far away, we know Marc must support his family any way he can. So we send them home, with best wishes and prayers and hope that maybe he will have a job by the end of the week.
Another event that has taken place in our kids lives is that our youngest son Matt, has taken a job in Alaska, and his family didn't move with him, so they will be moving in with us this coming week/weekend to be with us for a while. Meg, B and C will be taking our down stairs for a bit and altho it is a change for us, we open our arms and home to them.
Jenny and her children will be joining us in a couple of months also, soooo our home is never with out children even tho we have officially been empty Nester's for a while. :)
Well before I end this I wanted you to see the desert we will be tasting tomorrow in our celebrations. May God Bless America.....

WINCO
Yes.... our Winco Store is open and we are so excited. For those of you that don't have this store near you , you really don't know what your missing. We have been waiting for a while now for it to open up, it is very nice and really has some really good buys. Meggan and I went this morning and really it was very busy, when we first go there it was slow moving because there was so many people there, but the rest of the time went well. The one draw back about the store is that you have to bag your self, sooooo there is a learning curve there, any way I just had to let every one know that we are happy with our New Winco Store.

New Car
We decided after 4 years with the Van that we were ready for different car. It is a Mazda CX 9 year 2008, fully loaded and very comfortable. It is a blue/gray color and seats 7 but 6 would be more comfortable. I have been playing with it all afternoon. :)

Well lets see if works
Well I added my name to the end of my Blogs now, so we will see if I can do it. It has been a very winter like day snow all day long. And it is sticking tonight on the ground, oh well it will be gone in a day I am sure. It has been a quiet day here, I have worked on my cross stitching and did some baking, made some brownies for the neighbors and got supper ready. Now we are closing in on evening and another day is over. Hope your day has been nice where ever you are.

Beautiful Saturday
It is so pretty today, the sun is shinning so bright and the sky is that beautiful blue with puffy clouds. My flowers are blooming some and so are the neighbors. There are leaves beginning to bud on the trees around the neighborhood, it is nice to see the rebirth of nature once again.
It has been a very quiet Saturday, ran some errands this morning, and I just looked at the clock and can't believe it is going on 4 O'clock already, my goodness where did the day go? It is nice to have a slow pace day before tomorrow and we enjoy Sunday. I can remember Grammy Coleman always saying she had to get ready for Sunday and would spend all day Sat. cleaning house, she was a sweet woman. I can't say I have done that but the house is in order and since it has been such a quiet day my spirit is ready too. Bruce has worked on his college course that the company has requested he take he will be getting his PPM as soon as he has it done. (Professional Project Manager License) so that is great. He is hoping to have it done by the end of summer. He also got our taxes done to day...glad to have that done. So any way all in all it has been a good day. Hope it is true for all of you.... until next time... love ya

Home again
Home... yes we are back. It is so nice to look forward to something like going away for the weekend to see kids, but it is always nice to get back home. We had a great time with the kids in Idaho, very laid back visit. The grand kids are getting big and it is fun to be with them. Stacie and Marc are good too, but tired and need a break from school which I think happens next week. All in all it was a great weekend. But now we are back, Bruce is back to work, I am back to HOUSE work and on it goes. It has been dreary here today, but kinda nice, comfortable in a way. It is very much a Monday. Hope all is well with each of you... until next Post... love ya.
