One thing leads to another....

One might wonder what ever does she mean but as I was cleaning the house today, I had started in one area of the house and ended up doing something totally different. I did  get the floors swept and  the normal picking up and then started with one thing in the dining room and it ended up being a one thing leads to another thing...lol... but I am happy with it. What do you think?

Snow, Rain and Sun

I can't believe how the weather has been here today, we started out with snow early this morning (4:30 am) that is what time I get up most week days now since Bruce has to catch a train at 6 am, any way it snowed off and on for a couple hour's then it stopped and later turned to rain and then back to snow and then it was snowing with the sun and oh ya this morning we had thunder snow... you know thunder while it is snowing instead of rain... oh ya it has been a Monday full of weather. I have done the usual laundry on Monday, a couple errands and mostly putting the clean clothes away. It has been a day of resting up from a not very busy weekend but yet getting back to routine for the week. So I ask you "what has your Monday been like"...????

Spring time and Cookies

I wanted you all to see what Spring time looks like, I have flowers coming up all over the place. It is really nice out there too with temp at 56 degrees and the sun is shinning very brightly. I also made cookies this afternoon and I was wondering how long it will take us to go through them  until I stood there and ate 3 of them right off the bat, seems they won't last long even with out grand kids around. :) Hope your all having a great day and for those of you that are sick please get well soon....

Where is the noise????

Well we made it back home from our whirlwind trip to Conn. and Maine. It was long and nice at the same time, it was very good to see mom and dad and the brothers and sister and kids.It was nice to know that Jen and kids are back home safe and sound. And it is so nice to be back home....but boy is it QUIET around here with out our grandbaby's and big kids. I kept my self busy today and did get a lot of things done around the house, I got the laundry done, dusting done in the living room, floors swept and some odds and ends picked up and packed up. It was nice to be able to get things done and to have it stay more then 5 min.s.... :) Now it is time to have a nice evening with hubby, and watch some TV before going to bed which I think will come early this evening, as 4:30 AM was a little early to be up and at it this morning. Sooooo..... now my new life style begins with the quiet house, getting use to all my little people and big people gone doing what they are suppose to be doing. How will it be for me... well stay tuned and we shall see together...:)
