Really........

Can you believe it... no snow all winter and now that we want spring to come it has decided to visit us here in Utah. I guess from what we are seeing it will snow most of the week, of course this would be a good thing for me if..... I wasn't trying to take a long trip East in about a week, driving no less. Oh well, all I can say is... "it is pretty" but go away soon snow!!!!

Happy Birthday!!!!

It.s Bruce's birthday and he is 57 years young. It is hard for me to believe that we have reached the point where 60 years old is closer then 50. Time seems to fly bye and there is nothing you can do  about it but to enjoy every day as it comes and boy have Bruce and I enjoyed every day, the ups the downs and the valley's and mountains. It has been a great life and I am so happy to be married to such a wonderful man. So on this wonderful day I want every one to know that I am shouting from the roof top HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the most wonderful man in the world !!!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day to all those that are very special in my life. Especially my hubby who has been at my side for 39 years. It has been a wonderful journey and I am in love with him more today than I have ever been, love seems to just keep growing with us. Any way hope your all spending a delightful day with you love one or one's where ever you are.

Nap anyone?

It is so quiet here today, the kids are taking naps, the adults are sitting and doing their thing and the sun is shinning so bright and the temp is in the 50's. It is one of those Sundays that every one could curl up with a good book and take a nap, but then we all wouldn't sleep a wink tonight. Church was nice today, we had a missionary return and it was interesting to hear him talk about his journey. I am really enjoying Sunday school and Relief Society, I have taught in Primary for the last 4 years and was released last month. It has taken a little bit of getting use to it, to not be teaching every Sunday, but I am really enjoying the lessons that I am sitting in on with the adults. It is nice....

On the count down....

We are on the count down before we take Jen and kids home. And the time frame has been moved up, we will be leaving on the 1st of March instead of the 4th. Bruce has a meeting in Kansas on the 3rd so we will be stopping for that and then heading on, we will need to be back by the 13th of March so that will give us a little time to visit in Maine with the family. I am looking forward to seeing family again, but not anxious for this little family to leave us, it has been so much fun having them around and watching the grand babies grow. It has been such fun having them here to give hugs too and get hugs from. But they are getting ready to be home and to reunite with their daddy and that is what life is about.So.... I have 3 weeks from Tuesday to get my act together around here and be ready to take a trip. The time will fly.....

Lazy Week

I have been lazy this week. Bruce started his new position and it has been a week of adjustments. He has been home at different times this week, he took the train one day and didn't get home until 6:45pm. then the rest of the week he took his car and  has gotten home around 6 pm except last night he met Chris down town to go to a Basket ball game. So he didn't get home until 10:30 pm, It was a long day for him. Jenny and I have been visiting and running a little. Not doing much really. She has done some sewing and I had some sewing to do this week also, I had two suit pants to take up for Bruce so he can have suits to wear to work. I have done some house work but have a lot I could do, but it will wait for another day. I have talked with Meggan on text and they sound great.  Marc and Stacie and kids sound like they are doing well also.  All in all it really has been a LAZY week. :) Hope your week has been a good one.!
