End of Summer

It has been a lovely weekend. We started Sat. evening at Matt and Megs playing Monopoly all evening, it was fun, then yesterday was of course church for every one and we had supper over here as most Sundays, then today every one had the day off, and we had a BBQ at Chris's early this after noon. It was nice too. We played Monopoly again this after noon also and Chris won today, Sat. evening Matt won, I guess next time we will have to play here so Dad can win....lol...

Now we will all get into our routines again now that summer is coming to a close. Of course we will be going on vacation at the end of the month, and we will be looking forward to that.

I have laundry to do tomorrow, and get a few things done around the house, it will be a quiet day I expect.

Busy Weekend

Well it was a very busy weekend, Meg and I went to the Farmers Market on Sat then went and got our peaches and cheeries.. yum. It was Chris' b-day too, so we had a party for him Sat evening at his house, and he b-b-q and we had a movie. It was fun and we missed all of you who could be here for it. Then Sunday, I had to teach Sharing Time at church and my weekly lesson, so I was busy getting that prepared, and then we had our Home Teachers over that afternoon and then the kids came over to officially celerbrate Chris's b-day. All in all it was a busy one. It also has been very HOT and so it is not easy to go out side and do any thing.
Today has been a day of cleaning house, and recovering from the bussiness. All in all it has been nice.
