Thanksgiving 2009

WOW... what a great day, the dinner was great, the company was even better and our hearts are thankful. I am so glad that Marc and Stacie and kids were able to be with us this year, and that the ones that live close were able to be here too. We missed Jenny Erick and Lorelai, but know that they had a good day also. Now we settle in and get ready for Christmas to come. It is going to be a little quiet around here this year, as Marc and family will not be coming here this year but the day after we will be going to their house for the weekend. So our Christmas will be a little different this year as We will have the ones that live next door to us around and we look forward to having the holiday with them.

This year has gone so fast, it is hard for me to believe that a New year is almost upon us. So many things have gone on this year, and each mile stone has been a wonderful journey. All is well ..... that is for sure.

Getting Ready

Well it is almost here, we are expecting our family from Idaho tomorrow evening. We are looking forward to it. Last weekend we went to their home and had a nice time, now they will be coming here for the week, and we will be busy getting ready for Thanksgiving.
I had a very nice birthday, and got a body bugg , it is a program that you were and it monitors your calories burned and activity for the day, it has been interesting and so far so good. It does help you move more because you want to get your burn in for the day, which is the calories the program gives you. I am really enjoying it, if you want to see what it looks like you can watch The Biggest Loser and see it ,is worn on the upper arm. I will keep you posted how I do with it.

We took our trip to Maine, it was a lovely time, we really enjoyed our visit with Mom and Dad, and the rest of the family. We were able to see alot of the folks in Maine this time. It really was nice that Chris and Bruce were able to go this year with me. I took lots of pictures but these are a few of the leaves and colors that we saw, it really wasn't peak time for them yet as you can see there are still alot of green leaves left, but the colors that we saw were pretty. We also had a chance to visit with Jen, Lorelai and last but not least Erick, he came in just as we were leaving on our last day there. It was fun to see where they live and to meet their friends the Greens.

Now we are back home and glad to be here. It is always nice to go visit and always nice to be back home. We are trying to get back to our routines and just get use to being home again. Our weather is great low 60's and sunny. We left in 90 degree weather, and came back to FALL.... I love it.

We also visited Bruces mom while on our trip, she is holding her own right now. She is in a good place and seems to be happy for the most part. It was nice to see her. Well hope you all enjoy the pictures. Until next time, love to each of you.
