New Glasses

Well we finally did it, dad got new glasses, hurray,he is so happy to be able to see again better then he has in along time. He looks really good in them, I am not sure the pictures does him justice, but I thought maybe you all would like to see what they look like.

It has been a quiet day here, I did laundry all day, and just puttered around the house. Now I am comfortable and watching TV for evening, in my nightie, warm slippers and blanket.

A day of hard work

I was really busy today. I started the day with changing my bed linen and cleaning the main bathroom, from there I vacumed the up stairs . Then the afternoon brought mopping the wood floors in the living room and dining room, swept the kitchen floor. Dusted the funiture and change some tables around. And in the mean time ran up and down the stairs doing laundry all day. I feel like I got alot done and every thing looks great. Now I will be ready for sewing for the rest of the week.
I also made my burn for my steps and calories burned early in the day. It has been a good productive day.

A New Year

Well I started a new cross stitch, and since my dear daughter in law wants to see my progress I will from time to time put some pictures up.
Also Meggan and I have been busy sewing a lot, and we are doing well with our projects.
I have been busy with some other things too, and trying to do better at getting things done before the year has passed bye.
Also a side note on my body bugg that I got for my birthday , I am losing with it, so far I have lost ten pounds totally. It is very helpful.
Bruce and I are looking forward to a nice new year,many blessings have come our way and we continue to be blessed by our family
The weather has turned very winter like and it makes one want to stay in and do projects. We will be ready for spring when it comes.
