Our trip To Maine

We took our trip to Maine, it was a lovely time, we really enjoyed our visit with Mom and Dad, and the rest of the family. We were able to see alot of the folks in Maine this time. It really was nice that Chris and Bruce were able to go this year with me. I took lots of pictures but these are a few of the leaves and colors that we saw, it really wasn't peak time for them yet as you can see there are still alot of green leaves left, but the colors that we saw were pretty. We also had a chance to visit with Jen, Lorelai and last but not least Erick, he came in just as we were leaving on our last day there. It was fun to see where they live and to meet their friends the Greens.

Now we are back home and glad to be here. It is always nice to go visit and always nice to be back home. We are trying to get back to our routines and just get use to being home again. Our weather is great low 60's and sunny. We left in 90 degree weather, and came back to FALL.... I love it.

We also visited Bruces mom while on our trip, she is holding her own right now. She is in a good place and seems to be happy for the most part. It was nice to see her. Well hope you all enjoy the pictures. Until next time, love to each of you.

Wishing for Fall

I can't wait for FALL to arrive here in Utah. It was nice today, only in the mid 70's which was nice. I really am looking forward to leaves turning , cool weather, and pretty days. So as you can see I am trying to do my part to bring it on..... Hope you all have had a great day, I have for sure.

End of Summer

It has been a lovely weekend. We started Sat. evening at Matt and Megs playing Monopoly all evening, it was fun, then yesterday was of course church for every one and we had supper over here as most Sundays, then today every one had the day off, and we had a BBQ at Chris's early this after noon. It was nice too. We played Monopoly again this after noon also and Chris won today, Sat. evening Matt won, I guess next time we will have to play here so Dad can win....lol...

Now we will all get into our routines again now that summer is coming to a close. Of course we will be going on vacation at the end of the month, and we will be looking forward to that.

I have laundry to do tomorrow, and get a few things done around the house, it will be a quiet day I expect.
